Northeast Houndsmen Fall Seminar
During this time there will be large presence of K -9 teams in Orange, Athol, Phillipston, Templeton and surrounding areas. You’re welcome to watch as these teams in action. Please don’t approach the teams as they’re working. If the dog is out of harness you may ask the handler questions. Please understand not all dogs can be approached and/or touched.

Silver Lake: Our Waters Event
Please join us on June 7th, 2025, for a day-long celebration of the many beautiful lakes, rivers, and ponds we are gifted with in Athol. We are featuring Silver Lake this year, and all are welcome to this free event! There will be many activities for the family, including guided walks with the Athol Bird and Nature Club, fishing instruction, tips from Millers River Trout Unlimited, and fishing Guide Allan Butler. Also, Pickle Ball Clinics, Food Trucks, Magnet Fishing, a Scavenger Hunt, and many more activities throughout the day! There will be numerous booths to peruse, covering topics from the history of Silver Lake to Fly Tying and many more.
The event will run from 10am-4pm.

Magnet Fishing; Search for treasures that lie beneath the waters and see what you can find! Magnet fishing kits will be available to sign out while supplies last and if you are lucky enough to find the right “prize” you get to keep the complete kit!
Nature Scavenger Hunt 1 for kids, 1 for adults, pick up your packet at the Magnet fishing booth!
