Closing ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 2 pm. At this time, certificates will be handed out and a wrap up meeting will be held. The 2024 Fall Seminar will focus on search with utility vehicles, tactical and basic man-trailing within urban and wilderness areas, scent discrimination, scent articles, missing member, motor vehicle involvement and bailouts, negative trails, non-traditional trails, perimeter setup and night training. Itinerary will be posted at Northeast Houndsmen Facebook page. There will be a supper with cash bar at our annual fundraiser, included with registration.
● All participants are required to have current K9 Health records
● 6 Months of Training records required for certification.
● Certifications shall be issued to Bloodhounds only all others shall receive Certificate of Attendance.
I certify, under the pains and penalties of perjury, that the K9 listed on this application has current up-to-date health records and shots, including rabies. I also certify that the K9 listed has at least 6 months of current up-to-date training records.
Administrative Policy :
Anyone wishing to attend man-trailing classes must fill out an application and submit it to Northeast Houndsmen. A non-refundable full payment must accompany the application. All participants will be required to sign a release and indemnity agreement prior to attending classes. Accommodations, transportation to and from training areas are not included and are the participants’ responsibility. Some meals may be provided.
